Job Description:
upGrad is looking for enthusiastic and target-driven Admission Counsellors to join our growing team in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for connecting with potential learners, understanding their goals, and guiding them toward the right upskilling programs offered by upGrad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reach out to leads via calls/emails and explain upGrad's learning programs
- Counsel students to identify their needs and recommend suitable programs
- Convert leads into enrollments by building trust and showcasing course value
- Maintain daily records of interactions and follow-ups in the CRM
- Meet and exceed assigned admission targets (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth post-enrollment support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (any stream)
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, academic counseling, or inside sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong convincing and problem-solving abilities
- High levels of initiative, ownership, and goal orientation
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
