We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Foreign Languages with a specialisation in Spanish to lead our foreign language department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education and possess strong leadership skills to inspire both students and faculty.Responsibilities:- Oversee the foreign language curriculum ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.- Lead, mentor, and support language teachers in their professional development.- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and assessment methods.- Foster a positive and collaborative environment among faculty and students.- Coordinate language programs, including IGCSE and IBDP Spanish courses.- Organise cultural events and activities to promote language immersion and appreciation.- Collaborate with administration to manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.- Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to curriculum as necessary.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).- Minimum of 5 years of Spanish teaching experience- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting.- Strong understanding of IGCSE and IB curricula.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
