About the Role:
We're seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead our BSP, DorOS and Hardware Engineering team. This is a pivotal role that will drive the technical direction, innovation, and execution of our TV OS, built on AOSP. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers to ensure seamless integration of our software with diverse hardware platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the BSP, DorOS and Hardware Engineering team.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in VLSI, Embedded Systems, and TV technologies.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Hardware Integration:
Oversee the integration of various hardware components, including SoCs, memory, storage, and peripherals.
Collaborate closely with hardware vendors to ensure compatibility and performance.
BSP Development:
Lead the development and optimization of Board Support Packages (BSPs) for different hardware platforms.
Ensure efficient driver development and maintenance.
Address hardware-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Performance Optimization:
Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to enhance system responsiveness and power efficiency.
Product Assurance (Quality & Security):
Drive product assurance activities, including security testing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance testing.
Work closely with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into the development process from the beginning.
Manage incident response and vulnerability disclosure processes.
Future-Proofing:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and future-proof our products.
Explore opportunities for leveraging AI, machine learning, and other cutting-edge technologies integrated in OS/TV.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / VLSI Engineering, Computer Science.
Experience 12-15 Years
Strong understanding of VLSI design principles, embedded systems, and digital signal processing.
Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
In-depth knowledge of AOSP and Android TV.
Hands-on experience with BSP development, kernel customization, and device drivers.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
