Service Reliability Engineer JD About US Honest Data technologies Pvt Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Banyan Cloud, USA, the Cyber Security Product Company, headquartered in San Jose, California, USA, owning the Saa S product “Banyan Cloud”, first of its kind Cyber Security CNAP Platform that simplifies the code to cloud security for multi cloud & On-premises environments. This role will be responsible to build and maintain highly scalable, available, and secure IT infrastructure on cloud and On-Premises. The Service Reliability Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to build and support various IT functions to ensure various business applications are managed and secured and also contribute as subject matter expertise for Banyan Cloud product initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manaigng the Onpremise & Cloud Servers Unix /Linux Strengthening the Infra Security Product support which includes Deployments and Schema Changes in the databases are refreshes Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered. Implement and improve monitoring ,alerting and Dashboard creations in Grafana Documenting RCA Identify and write technical articles or knowledge-bases, support runbooks, and best practice documentation. will be plus Mentor and train new team members to help with configuration and diagnosing issues. Key Qualifications: 0-1 years of Experience in a UNIX/Linux Server Administration Database knowledge/ experience would be plus on SQL /No SQL Python experience, specifically for systems automation. Deeply familiar with AWS and other public cloud technologies equivalences (EB, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, Glue, Cloud Front, Cloud Formation, etc…) Strong operational experience in Linux environment (OS, networking, process level). Proficient with bootstrap, provisioning, configuration and orchestration Knowledge/Experience working in a collaborative, distributed team environment. Knowledge/Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Github, Knowedge on Bitbucket, or Circle CI, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, chef and Ansible Proven experience in trouble shooting, debugging, and performance measurement Knowledge / Experience with ensuring security and compliance of production systems Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind. Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment. Participate in a 24x7 rotation for second-tier escalations globally.
