Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Native Android Developer to join our team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications, with a specific emphasis on building apps that function as auto-responders to streamline user workflows and communications.
The ideal candidate will have experience with manual and automated testing for quality assurance, ensuring robust performance and smooth functionality in the delivered solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create reliable apps with intuitive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development: Create and maintain high-quality Android applications with specific functionalities like auto-responding to messages or triggers based on predefined workflows.
Testing and QA: Perform manual and automated testing to ensure application stability and identify potential bugs or performance bottlenecks.
Write and execute test cases.
Perform regression testing and ensure new updates do not introduce issues.
Collaborate with QA engineers to set up automated testing pipelines.
Optimization: Optimize app performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in development and production environments, including crashes and edge-case bugs.
Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation for app features, workflows, and testing procedures.
Integration: Work with APIs and third-party tools to enable auto-responder functionality, including scheduling, custom triggers, and message formatting.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Android development trends and actively suggest improvements to processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in native Android development using Java and Kotlin .
Strong knowledge of Android SDK , UI frameworks , and Material Design principles .
Experience developing or working with apps that include auto-responder features or message-handling workflows.
Solid understanding of manual testing practices and familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, Appium).
Experience with version control systems like Git .
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and database management (SQLite, Room).
Knowledge of Android app architectures such as MVVM or MVP .
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Firebase services (e.g., Firestore, Messaging, Analytics).
Familiarity with Push Notifications and real-time data syncing .
Experience in developing apps that interact with messaging platforms (e.g., Whats App, SMS, or email-based auto-responders).
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and testing pipelines.
Understanding of Android app security, privacy standards, and accessibility features.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
