The ideal candidate will play a role in the development of multiple parts of the business by analyzing past, current, and future business trends. This individual will establish strategies to achieve desired outcomes and implement these strategies. They will often work cross-functionally with internal business units in order to understand the challenges that these teams are face and provide solutions to these groups. Job Title: - Business Analyst Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with pre-sales and techno-functional expertise to join our team in the power industry with network manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle and PostgreSQL, along with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams. You will play a crucial role in understanding client requirements, providing solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions that leverage Oracle and PostgreSQL technologies. Requirement Gathering: Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for technical teams. Solution Design: Work with clients to design effective solutions that align with their operational needs, leveraging best practices in the power industry. Pre-Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and responding to RFPs, showcasing the value of our offerings. Technical Consultation: Provide expertise on Oracle and PostgreSQL applications, advising clients on functionality, integrations, and best practices. Collaboration: Act as a liaison between clients, sales, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations that enhance client operations and drive decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, EEE, Information Technology, or a related field. 9 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the power industry especially in Network Manager / Network Controller. Strong knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, with hands-on experience in data modeling and query optimization. Proven track record in pre-sales support and solution design, with excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions. MUST HAVE Agile Methodologies, Technical BA/PO, Technical Requirements gathering, Pre- Sales experience, Strong background in Oracle and PostgreSQL along with Data Analytics skill set. GOOD TO HAVE Performance Metrics, Power Industry Domain experience with Network Manager / Network controller, Experience in Java Experience Range - 9 to 10 years Location : Chennai only
