We’re scaling rapidly across India and global markets with a product-first engineering culture.This is a foundational role — you’ll own core AI systems and receive equity aligned with long-term contribution.Role Overview We’re looking for a hands-on Data Science & Engineering Lead with strong experience in LLMs, automation frameworks, and AI-driven backend engineering.You’ll work directly with the founders to drive the architecture, experimentation, automation, and scaling of our voice AI platform.A fast-track pathway exists to become Head of Engineering along with higher ESOP allocation .Key Responsibilities 1. LLM Engineering & Agentic Workflows Architect, build, and optimise LLM pipelines (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama)Develop advanced memory systems, retrieval flows, and structured output agentsWork with real-time STT → LLM → TTS loops (LiveKit, Cartesia, Soniox, Deepgram)Improve latency, accuracy, and cost efficiency2. Automation & Backend Development Build automation workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, n8nDesign and maintain backend APIs/services in Python or Node.jsManage vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant)Build data pipelines for finetuning, evaluation, and analytics3. Data Science & Model Operations Run experiments for STT benchmarking, prompt tuning, call quality scoringAnalyse call logs at scale to improve agent performanceBuild monitoring dashboards and automated evaluation pipelines4.
