POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a talented and experienced CrestronProgrammer with expertise in DSP (Digital Signal Processing)programming to join our team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for designing, developing, and implementing audiovisualcontrol systems using Crestron technology, while also possessingthe ability to work with DSP processors for advanced audioprocessing. WHATYOU'LL DO: Design,program, and implement Crestron-based control systems foraudio-visual applications in commercial and residentialenvironments. Collaborate with project teams,including AV engineers and designers, to understand projectrequirements and provide technical expertise. Develop customized user interfaces for control panels,touch screens, and mobile devices using Crestron's proprietaryprogramming software. Integrate AV components,including video conferencing systems, displays, audio systems, andother peripherals, into unified control systems. Configure and program DSP processors for audiooptimization, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and other audioprocessing tasks. Conduct thorough testing anddebugging of programmed systems to ensure functionality,performance, and reliability. Providedocumentation and training to clients and internal teams on systemoperation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies,and best practices in AV control systems and DSPprogramming. WHATYOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ComputerScience, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalentwork experience). Proven experience inprogramming Crestron control systems, including Crestron CertifiedProgrammer (CCP) certification. Strongbackground in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) programming,including familiarity with DSP processors from manufacturers suchas Biamp, Extron, QSC. Proficiency inprogramming languages such as Crestron Simpl# and Simpl#Pro. Knowledge of AV protocols and standards,including but not limited to: TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485, andHDMI. Experience with AV equipment andcomponents, including video codecs, displays, audio processors,microphones, and speakers. Ability to read andinterpret AV system designs, schematics, and technicaldocumentation. Excellent problem-solvingskills and attention to detail. Effectivecommunication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams andclients. Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities to handle multiple projectssimultaneously. Willingness to adapt to newtechnologies and a continuous learning mindset. Crestron Digital Media certification and experience withAV-over-IP systems is a plus.
