Role Overview The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue by promoting and selling Ridhira Retreat’s banquet halls, wellness events, destination weddings, and corporate events. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless execution of events in collaboration with the operations team. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Generate leads and secure bookings for weddings, social functions, corporate events, wellness retreats, and MICE activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, wedding planners, corporates, travel agencies, and wellness partners. Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and property show-rounds to convert inquiries into bookings. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for banquets and events. Client Management Understand client requirements and customize proposals to suit their event needs. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and packages while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Act as a single point of contact from inquiry to event execution, ensuring a smooth client experience. Collaboration & Execution Work closely with the banquet, operations, F&B, and wellness teams to ensure flawless event delivery. Provide detailed event briefs to the operations team and oversee execution when required. Gather client feedback post-events and ensure continuous improvement. Marketing & Branding Support marketing initiatives to promote Ridhira Retreat as a top destination for events. Participate in exhibitions, wedding fairs, and networking events to generate new business. Develop partnerships with event organizers and wellness communities for brand visibility. Reporting & Analysis Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and revenue forecasts. Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence to management. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and strategies. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field. 5–8 years of experience in event sales/banquet sales, preferably in luxury resorts, hotels, or premium venues. Proven track record in achieving event sales targets (weddings, corporate events, MICE, social gatherings). Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Network with wedding planners, corporates, and event agencies is a strong advantage. Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and deliver under tight deadlines.
