Job Description:
We are urgently seeking experienced Supervisor HSE professionals to oversee and implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures during a shutdown project for a leading oil & gas company in the UAE. The role requires ensuring compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, local regulations, and industry best practices to create a safe working environment on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines during the shutdown project.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Promote a culture of safety by conducting HSE training and awareness programs for all personnel.
- Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor on-site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation in line with project requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure all personnel understand and follow HSE procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE).
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- 5–10 years of experience in HSE supervision, preferably in oil & gas shutdown projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards and local safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and enforce compliance.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety excellence.
