Mechanical Supervisors Wanted for Shutdown Projects in UAE

Salary: 150 - 250 AED per Day
We are seeking experienced Supervisors in Mechanical and Piping to join our team for shutdown/turnaround execution and plant maintenance projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in maintaining various equipment and systems in industrial settings, as well as proven leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage plant maintenance and shutdown/turnaround activities across various disciplines.
- Develop, plan, and execute project schedules using Primavera-6 software for efficient operations.
- Oversee mechanical, piping, electrical, and rigging operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage materials, stores, and workforce mobilization to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Perform quality assurance and control inspections for mechanical and piping systems during shutdowns.
- Supervise and coordinate rigging, planning, and other technical services to meet project objectives.
- Provide accurate quantity surveying and cost estimations for effective project budgeting.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in shutdown/turnaround execution and plant maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge in maintaining heat exchangers, vessels, columns, tanks, absorbers, safety valves, piping networks, pressure testing equipment, pumps, compressors, turbines, and utility plants (boilers).
- Experience in dismantling and erecting equipment and piping modifications.
- Proficiency in Primavera-6 software for project planning and scheduling.
- Proven experience in the oil & gas industry, particularly in shutdown/turnaround maintenance projects within the Gulf region.
- Ex-Descon candidates are preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
