Job description
Excellent Area Sales Manager opportunity with a MNC Med Tech market leader in Electrosurgery space.
The role in based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Role & responsibilities
Achieving primary & secondary AOP of product units & revenue
Accurate monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan to meet planned AOP
Drive the value proposition to protect ASPs for better margins
Understand competitive products, features, strengths & tactics for timely modifications of strategy
Appoint/Expand distribution networks for market coverage
Distributor reviews for effective inventory management, daily co-ordination, customer relationship and ensure discipline, compliance & proper coverage
Setting targets for channel teams, performance monitoring & quarterly evaluation
Clear communication on performance & revenue gaps
Forecasting & reviewing distributor performances
Master the technological applications, identify & analyze gaps in distributor teams product demonstrations & train them for high quality product demonstrations
Negotiation of price with Corporates to maximize profitability
Develop & retain KOL & Top 20 key accounts in assigned markets
Create quality market development activity with KOL's for long-term business associations
Driving customer engagement, for share growth and size growth through KOL initiated live workshops, Trainings & the COE initiatives
Plan and facilitate execution of training and technical programs for Key Hospitals
Engage non-medical customers, hospitals administrators, BMEs to maintain productive and positive business relationships
Identify high procedural volume centers & develop relationships with key stakeholders to increase revenue & market share
Preferred candidate profile
BS/BE/BTech in Biomedical Engineering. PG in Business Management is useful
Minimum 8-10 yrs experience in Surgical Products, preferably endoscopic range
Extensive experience in entire Tamil Nādu market.
Good knowledge of digital adaptiveness platforms - MS Office, Excel & Power Point
Willing to travel extensively
Experience of trade markets
