Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development
- Deliver lectures in areas such as Accounting, Finance, Business Studies, Taxation, and Marketing.
- Prepare and deliver engaging course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
- Stay updated with current developments in the commerce field to incorporate relevant knowledge into teaching.
- Research and Publication
- Conduct original research in the domain of commerce and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners on interdisciplinary research projects.
- Student Mentorship
- Guide and mentor students in academic and career planning.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.
- Administrative Duties
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees as assigned.
- Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Industry and Community Engagement
- Build relationships with industry professionals to facilitate guest lectures, internships, and employment opportunities.
- Engage in outreach programs to strengthen institutional ties with the community.
- Continuous Professional Development
- Attend workshops, training programs, and seminars to enhance teaching and research capabilities.
- Education:
- Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) or equivalent with NET/SET or Ph.D. in Commerce.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in a higher education institution.
- Fresh candidates with exceptional academic records and research potential may also be considered.
- Strong subject knowledge in commerce-related disciplines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in the use of technology for teaching and research.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to professional ethics and academic integrity.
