Role Summary
GFT is looking for a visionary Senior/Lead Python Engineer to join forces with the world’s largest bank in revolutionizing the future of banking. This role is a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape the architecture and design of a next-generation, cloud-native core banking ledger at the heart of a groundbreaking digital transformation.
Collaborate with top industry experts, drive innovation, and gain unparalleled exposure to the operations of a leading US financial institution while contributing to the creation of a transformative new product.
Key Responsibilities
• Thought Machine Expertise: Leverage advanced knowledge of Thought Machine's Vault platform, including the configuration layer, migration processes, data loading, and certification process
• Python Programming: Develop and maintain scalable applications with a strong proficiency in Python
• API Development: Define and implement both synchronous and asynchronous APIs, including REST and event-driven architectures
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and automated deployment of applications
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proficient in Python: Advanced Python programming skills, with experience building and deploying complex systems
• API Integration: Expertise in creating and managing APIs (synchronous/asynchronous) using REST and event-driven models
• CI/CD Expertise: Strong experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Cloud Knowledge: Extensive experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, etc.
• Collaboration: Ability to work in cross-functional teams, engaging with DevOps, product, and QA teams to ensure smooth product delivery
