Crafted by world class perfumers, Contraband’s scents are bold, unfiltered, and unforgettable.We’re a passionate team with big ambitions, building brands that shape beauty conversations, not just follow them.Position Purpose and Summary:As the Social Media Manager at LOV ETC, you will be the creative force behind our digital presence, crafting compelling content and executing strategies that resonate with our audience. Your role will be pivotal in building a vibrant community, driving engagement, and amplifying our brand's voice across platforms.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.)Create original, on-brand content including photos, videos, reels, stories, and written copyPlan and maintain content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal trendsMonitor performance metrics and optimize content based on analytics and audience insightsEngage with followers through comments, messages, and interactive features to build communityStay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social media trendsCollaborate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to ensure cohesive brand messagingIdentify and coordinate influencer partnerships and user-generated content opportunitiesParticipate in photoshoots and events to capture behind-the-scenes contentManage social media budgets for paid promotion and sponsored contentQualifications:3+ years of social media management experience in the beauty industry.Proven success in growing brand engagement, followers, and community for consumer beauty brands.Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and on-brand content creation across multiple social media platforms.Proficient with social media analytics tools and data-driven content optimization.Skilled in photography, video production, and editing for social media formats.Experience with social media management and content planning tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite).Deep knowledge of beauty trends, terminology, and consumer behaviour on social media.Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt LOV ETC's brand voice across channels.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred.Preferred Skills:Experience styling cosmetics products for flat lays and visual storytelling.Understanding of SEO, hashtag strategies, and content discoverability in the beauty space.Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).Experience in influencer marketing and managing long-term brand collaborations.Knowledge of paid social media advertising and campaign management.Community management experience with a passion for customer engagement.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
