Job Overview: The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Esco Lifesciences to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective processes across production, supply chain, logistics, quality, and service support. This role plays a key part in strengthening operational excellence, improving productivity, and supporting business growth in the region. Location: Bangalore, India Direct Manager: Country Manager Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations to ensure production, service, and support activities run smoothly. Ensure compliance with Esco standards, safety regulations, SOPs, and quality requirements. Monitor operational KPIs and drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and cost control. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Procurement, Quality, and Service teams to ensure seamless workflow. Lead planning, resource allocation, and manpower scheduling to meet business demands. Identify operational issues and implement process improvements, including Lean, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives. Ensure operational documentation, reports, and records are accurate and up to date. Support digitalization and system improvements to streamline processes. Manage facility readiness, equipment maintenance, and operational safety. Lead, coach, and develop operational staff to ensure optimal performance. Support projects, new product introductions, and operational expansion activities. Maintain strong communication with management on operational updates, risks, and timelines. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience in operations or manufacturing management. Familiar with production processes, quality standards, and operational workflow management. Experience in Lean/Kaizen/5S or continuous improvement programs is an advantage. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple operational priorities.
