JOB DESCRIPTION-EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONABOUT (EXIDE ENERGY SOLUTIONS LTD)Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) is a 100 percent subsidiary of Exide Industries Limited. The main object of the Company is to carry on the business of manufacturing battery cells of advanced chemistry and form factor, including but not limited to cylindrical, pouch, and prismatic, (the "Battery Cells"), as well as manufacturing, assembling, selling battery modules, battery packs and other related activities. The Registered office is situated at 59E Chowringhee Road, Kolkata - 700020.KEY SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED•Should have experience in lithium-ion cells, packs, automotive, and electronic gadgets industry.•Should have experience in Projects site (Minimum 5+ years) especially in Equipment Shifting & installation or Minimum 10+ years in O&M.•Manufacturing Engineer exposure will be added advantage as post completion, candidate needs to work with core ME team for routine Operations.•Should have exposure on various lifting tools and tackles along with lifting equipment (crane, forklift, boom lift, container lifting machine etc) as per requirements.•Should have experience in Lifting plans along with knowledge on lifting tools selection. (Certification on Lifting operations and plans will be added advantage).•Should have experience with contractor management.JOB DESCRIPTION•Engage with Facilities (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical team) and Equipment (Core machine/ production) Team to ensure the readiness of all required utilities like civil foundation, Mechanical & Electrical terminals nearby Equipment fitment area as per technical specifications required by OEM.•Experience in preventive scheduling of equipment, condition-based monitoring, checking and rectification of run-out shafts, and gearbox overhauling.•Exp in Installation and commissioning of conveyors, material handling equipment, and robotic cell assembly.•Experience in installation and commissioning of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as hydraulic presses and pneumatic lifters.•Must ensure the readiness of Facilities (Pathways, rooms, partitions, spaces etc.) at the correct locations and within the allocated time frame in coordination with the Facilities and Equipment team.•Maintenance analysis - TPM implementation on shop floor•Must have Review meetings proactively and take action to correct as required to ensure First trail report (FTR) utilities availability.•Engage with Facilities and Equipment Team to ensure the correct time for dispatch of equipment without idle storage at site and availability of equipment on time as per plan to avoid any rework.•Should Engage with procurement and finance teams to ensure on-time dispatch from China port, receipt at India port, clearance of goods and internal transport from port to project site to ensure on-time arrival of equipment at site.•Engage with EHS team to understand any India statutory approvals required for equipment and ensure document / information availability for these from the suppliers and apply and get these approvals as per requirement.•Should make detail plan along with Equipment team to ensure staggered arrival of equipment at project site to manage proper logistics arrangements at site for unloading.•Should be able to check the lifting plan along with all supported resource in line with EHS requirements before each lift in planned.•Should make a detail plan to make space and infrastructure readiness at site to handle receipt of containers and unloading of equipment and loading back the empty containers within stipulated time.•Should know the 7 QC Tools, Spare Parts Management, Skill matrix, HIRA, CIRA, AIA, WHY WHY, PDCA, UPC Analysis,7 steps of PM•Should engage with Facilities and Equipment team to ensure that the openings as per path required for Equipment move in are available, pro-actively correct as required to ensure availability of move in paths as required in "Equipment Move in Plan".•Should Engage with Technological Equipment team to understand "Equipment Move in Plan" and discuss with EESL stakeholders to ascertain that it is implementable at Project site. Involve & align EESL Facilities & Equipment teams to this plan. During implementation ensure that the site is in line with the plan.•Should engage with OEM well in advance to ensure their travel plan are in line with our requirements for smooth unloading, shifting, installation & commissioning.•Should identify local vendors who are expertise in unloading, shifting, installation & commissioning support. These vendors must be pre-qualified before floating RFP’s.•Based on RFP’s floated, suitable offer must be technically validated and negotiated to ensure order placement as per plan. To do this Equipment Suppliers must also be engaged to understand the manpower and other resource requirements.•Should Implement proper receipt of material as per policy and must ensure proper unloading, shifting and installation of equipment as per approved plan with support from OEM supervisors, Technological support team along with Local vendor who shall be engaged.•Must plan for utility hook up with help from facilities team and handover to Equipment team for further commissioning.Note: 1.
