We are looking for a Mid Level Industrial Designer to join our team in Cochin, Kerala

• Diploma / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering + Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design or Product Design from an accredited institution.

• 2-5 years of experience, hands-on industrial design activities

• Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment

• Attention to detail and dedication to thoroughness

• Ability to develop original ideas, as well as ideas passed down from management, and take them from concept to reality.

• Exceptional design skill and the ability to communicate form through sketch, 2D, and 3D modeling.

• We are dealing in reality, and producing real products. The candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of the design process as well as the ability to design for various manufacturing and production processes, materials, etc.

• Bring ideas through design and hands-on execution in all phases of the Industrial Design process from concept development, sketching, 3D concept modeling, digital rendering to definition of Color/Material/Finishes.

• Deliver high quality graphics and presentations driving visual appeal of the design concepts.

• Research, forecast and communicate styles and trends as they relate to product design.

• Collaborate and work effectively as part of a cross functional team Engineering/Manufacturing.

• A thorough understanding and integration of Design Thinking and User Experience principles in the product development process.

• Mechanically inclined, with solid understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and materials with emphasis towards medium or high-volume manufacturing.

• Well-developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to take ownership and responsibility for various projects, and have the ability to deliver within given deadlines and budgets.
