Job Title: Java Spring Boot Developer Location Options: Chennai / Kolkata / Pune / Bangalore ( Onsite ) Experience Required: 5–8 years Joining Timeline: 30 days Interview Mode: Virtual Drive Drive Date: 14-Nov-2025 Role Overview As a Java Spring Boot Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications for Citigroup’s banking and asset finance systems. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot . Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions. Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with financial industry standards. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments. Integrate applications with databases and third-party services. Participate in code reviews , unit testing, and documentation. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework. Experience in REST API development and microservices architecture . Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate for database interaction. Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL). Understanding of security principles (OAuth2, JWT, SSL). Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven. Good grasp of design patterns and object-oriented programming . \ Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services or BFSI domain . Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization. Understanding of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
