The Strategic Electronics Business Unit designs, develops and manufactures customized, complex products for Defence and Space customers. Centum’s unique microelectronics capability enables the development of lightweight, high reliability electronics for on-board applications. Centum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electronics Hardware Manager to lead our hardware engineering team in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge electronic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, team leadership, and project management, with a passion for innovation and quality. Oversee the design, development, and validation of electronic circuits, PCBs, and embedded systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and manufacturing to ensure seamless product integration. Drive hardware architecture decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time delivery of hardware solutions. Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and failure analysis. Support product certification and testing processes (EMC, ESS, etc.) Analysing and validating material/component selection, tolerances, performance, and manufacturability. High Speed Digital Architecture Design (Microcontroller, Microprocessor and FPGA based architecture) with 1553 interface • System Design with Xilinx/Altera/Actel FPGA devices with relevant tools and IPs • Mixed signal design architecture • Good planning and organization skills 15+ years of experience in hardware design and development and who can interact with customers on all technical matters to ensure on-time execution of the programs. •
