Key Accountabilities Develop and implement procurement strategies for equipment and bulk materials (e.g., steel, pipes, valves), aligning with project and production schedules. Lead negotiations, contract management, and supplier relationship development to secure the best pricing, quality, and continuity of supply. Ensure full compliance with maritime/engineering standards and quality management systems (ABS, DNV, ISO). Oversee inventory, stock levels, documentation, and audit requirements to minimize delays and support uninterrupted operations. Champion cost reduction, risk mitigation, and process improvement initiatives across procurement activities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, finance, project teams) and external vendors/regulatory bodies. Experience, Skills & Competencies Minimum 18 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within shipbuilding, heavy engineering, or related sectors.
