Job Description: Are you a meticulous and analytical Accountant looking for freelance opportunities? Workafy is in search of experienced accountants who can manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide actionable financial advice to our diverse client base. We are looking for professionals who are adept at handling financial documentation, tax filings, and budget preparations with precision and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
- Supervise employees who handle financial reporting and budgeting.
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
- Analyze market trends to find opportunities for expansion or for acquiring other companies.
- Help management make financial decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements applicable to financial reporting.
- Advanced competency in accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Sharp time management skills.
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
