Job Description: Are you a creative and skilled Frontend Developer looking for freelance opportunities to showcase your abilities in crafting beautiful and functional web interfaces? Workafy is seeking talented frontend developers who are proficient in modern technologies and design principles to join our network. We are looking for individuals who can transform design concepts into user-friendly and visually appealing web applications.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to improve usability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Maintain and enhance existing web applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React.js.
  • Familiarity with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
