Role Overview
We are seeking a talented Senior Backend Developer to design and implement the server-side logic that powers our advanced agricultural technology platform. You will work closely with the founding team to ensure seamless data interchange and scalability while contributing to innovative solutions that enhance agricultural efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain server-side logic for the AgriTech platform.
Define and optimize central databases for performance and responsiveness.
Implement REST and GraphQL APIs for efficient data exchange.
Build robust backend solutions using Python, JavaScript (Node, Express), and MongoDB.
Ensure accessibility and security compliance in all backend processes.
Manage user authentication and authorization across multiple systems.
Integrate data from various sources into a cohesive backend system.
Oversee hosting environments, database administration, and scalability.
Set up and manage backups to safeguard critical data.
Design and implement database schemas aligned with business needs.
Create and maintain automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Utilize code versioning tools like Git, BitBucket, and AWS.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Design and implement low-latency, high-frequency APIs.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and data protection.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in Python and JavaScript (Node, Express).
Expertise in MongoDB and database schema design.
Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
Experience with accessibility and security compliance.
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization systems.
Proven ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases.
Experience in database administration and handling load changes.
Familiarity with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Proficient in version control tools like Git, BitBucket, and AWS.
Additional Qualifications
Expertise in building low-latency, high-frequency APIs.
Ability to develop reusable code and libraries for scalability.
