Job Title: Solar Site Engineer—Rooftop Projects


Experience: Minimum 2 years in solar rooftop installations


Job Description: The Solar Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of rooftop solar installation projects. This role involves coordinating with project teams, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and facilitating the timely completion of projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Supervise and manage the installation of rooftop solar PV systems from start to finish.

Conduct site assessments, including shading analysis, roof condition evaluation, and structural feasibility studies.

Oversee the work of installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate with design and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise to avoid delays.

Ensure the installation complies with local regulations, codes, and standards.

Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure the quality of work.

Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including progress reports and quality checklists.

Assist in commissioning and handover of the completed project to clients.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Proven 2 years of experience in rooftop solar installations.

In-depth knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, electrical connections, and safety standards.

Proficiency in design tools and project management software is an advantage.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A valid driving license is a plus.

AUTOCAD knowledge Must

Work Environment:


On-site work with exposure to outdoor conditions.

May require travel to various project locations.
