Job Description: Creospan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer/Architect to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a passionate software engineering and testing professional with over 10 years of experience in automation, system design, and architecture.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of complex, multi-tiered enterprise applications through innovative automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and design test automation strategies for complex software systems, driving efficiency and precision in testing.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Lean FT, Selenium, Sikuli, Test NG.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs, multi-tiered system architectures, and various technologies including MQ, Kafka, Solace.
Utilize strong Core Java, SQL, and Oracle skills to design effective test cases and automate testing processes.
Manage test environments and data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Provide technical troubleshooting and support, addressing and resolving critical issues.
Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes to enhance the quality and speed of delivery.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with business and technical partners.
Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to solve complex technical challenges.
Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
10+ years of software engineering and testing experience with a focus on automation.
Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Lean FT, Selenium, Sikuli, Test NG.
Strong proficiency in Core Java, SQL, Oracle, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, Kafka, Solace.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Proven ability to design and test large, complex enterprise architectures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in test data and environment management.
Experience playing roles such as Test Automation Engineer and Architect.
Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with the Banking/Financial domain and trading lifecycle.
Experience with Jira and Azure Dev Ops tools.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with CA Dev Test, Cucumber, and Azure.
Familiarity with various web technologies such as SFTP, HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, and CSS.
