Company Description we suggest you enter details here Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Die Casting Tool Designer at Lamda Components Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru. The role involves designing die casting tools and overseeing the tooling process to meet production requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software and die casting tool design Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and project management abilities Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or tool design degree from NTTF Experience of five + years working as a tool and die maker. In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses. Knowledge in tool simulation process Experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes. Design calculations and cutting tools selections, as per base material.  Experience with quality control analysis. Experience with material selection and process analysis. Awareness about quality tools and IATF 16949. Responsibilities Reading and interpreting, design schematics, and CAD/3 D drawings. Preparing Road map with time line and regular tracking of the progress Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances. Designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts. Measuring and marking metal stock for machining. Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines. Ability of Shaping blocks to specified dimensions. Fitting and assembling tools and die parts. Communicating with suppliers in case of outsourced processes. Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness etc. Conducting test runs with completed tools and dies. Advanced troubleshooting skills Maintain the track records for the tools.  Preparing of budget and proposal for management approvals Co-ordination with concerned staff to achieve targets.  Internal reports preparation and sharing for discussion. Complete DFM knowledge, and preparing presentations. Communicating with Lead-time based on Dimension Proving.
