AVGARDE is an award-winning deeptech startup company developing next generation products for the low-altitude drone airspace, with applications across critical infrastructure protection, aerospace and defence. AVGARDE has a current on-site job opening for a full-time Commercial & Tender Executive, with 1-5 years of industry experience at the company’s head office at Sector-1, HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Strong knowledge and industry experience of Bid Management, Tender Processes, Tender Preparation, Tender Documentation, Tender Compliances, Tender Submission and related aspects.
· Provide Commercial Support for the business development, sales and operations team in terms of effective customer communications, sales support, contracts management and customer follow-ups for new procurement, new tendering, new invoicing, collection of billed invoices and other external engagements like Purchase Negotiation Committee (PNC) and Joint Receipt Inspection (JRI).
· Knowledge about Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, Contracts Management, Government Registrations and Empanelment.
· Skilled experience in participating in PSU, Government and Corporate tenders in various online procurement portals, including GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and other government & PSU eTendering websites, along with tender monitoring for identifying new bid opportunities.
· Manage vendor registrations, empanelment, enlistment and listing of products and catalogues in various government sourcing and procurement platforms like GeM, DDP Srijan, PMO Suraj, Defence eProcurement, Home Ministry, Army, Air Force, Navy and other relevant portals.
· Understanding of various government and PSU procurement manuals, including Defence Procurement Procedure (DAP) and other procurement documents related to Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and other government ministries and PSUs.
· Ability to coordinate with cross-functional internal teams for relevant data and information required for tender compliances, documentation and successful submission.
· Effectively coordinate and liaise with external stakeholders and customers at all stages of tendering and bid processes, and participate in relevant pre-bid meetings and other client pre-sales and procurement related engagements for successful tender bidding outcomes.
· Work proactively with AVGARDE channel partners in terms partner agreements, joint tender documentation, evaluating partners, opportunity mapping, terms of engagement, partner priorities & territories, partner training, post tender service agreements and other aspects.
· Ability to work with external vendor and suppliers, negotiate terms and pricing, establish commercial priorities, manage vendor relationships and work effectively with the operations team.
· Superior attention to detail and organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s or Master's degree or PG Diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Business Management, Operations, and/or related field. Knowledge about Aerospace & Defence industry is a plus.
