Associate Fund Controller

About Us: We are a fast-growing alternative investment management firm based in GIFT City , focused on delivering differentiated fund strategies through our Category III AIF structure and PMS. We’re building a high-performance team to scale our operations and drive innovation in India’s evolving financial ecosystem. We are looking for a Senior Associate – Back Office Operations as Fund Controller for our Hedge Fund, who will play a pivotal role in building and managing day-to-day operational workflows, fund administration coordination, trade settlement, and reconciliation processes for our AIF structures and PMS. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is eager to contribute to building operational infrastructure from the ground up. Cash, Position & NAV Reconciliations: Perform daily reconciliation of fund accounts, cash balances, open positions, and NAV with custodians and administrators Fund Administration & Investor Operations: Liaise with fund administrators for NAV validation, performance fee calculations, and investor reporting Coordinate with compliance for reporting and regulatory filings (SEBI, IFSCA, etc.) Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for all operational activities Assist with internal and external audits, including responding to data requests Assist in the evaluation and implementation of technology tools for automation and scale Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/MBA is an advantage) ~3–7 years of experience in hedge fund operations, fund administration, PMS/AIF operations, or similar roles ~ Solid understanding of financial instruments, particularly equities and derivatives ~ Experience with fund accounting and knowledge of GIFT City / IFSCA regulatory framework preferred ~ Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with reconciliation or OMS platforms ~ A unique opportunity to work at the forefront of India’s alternative investment ecosystem in GIFT City Learning opportunities in fund structuring, operations, and cross-border investment frameworks Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives Fast-track career growth in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment
