These requirements will be used as an input to the ZCU HW design.
These requirements will also form the basis for verification and validation of the ZCU EE and ME components.
HW-SW Specification including Diagnostics: The ZCU Requirements Engineer will take as an input the HW Specification, HW design and SW design to create and document the HW-SW specification.
The HW-SW specification will be the authority for documenting the design tradeoffs and decisions made as the HW and SW designs evolve.
The HW-SW specification also acts as user manual and datasheet for the ZCU HW platform to be utilized by the SW development team.
The HW-SW Specification includes diagnostic requirements that refine the fault detection (DTCs) and diagnostic services supported by the ZCU.
The HW-SW specification forms the basis for integration level testing to ensure the compatibility of the HW and SW designs.
HW Architect The role will be responsible for leading critical design decisions by managing the technical feasibility and tradeoff costs, in order to ensure an ZCU HW Design that satisfies the stakeholder needs and expectations.
The role will also be responsible for the technical roadmap and architectural runway to ensure the ability to meet the needs of the Stellantis functional objectives into the future.
The primary work product will be architectural views that document the solution chosen with appropriate detail needed for communicating the solution.
The role will require the capability to perform technical analysis while also leveraging the capabilities of the key parties responsible for the HW and SW designs.
Preferred candidate profile EE and/or SW design experience.

analyze schematics, analyze datasheets/user manuals, comprehend processor and memory options, comprehend electrical I/O, comprehend automotive networks (CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet), analyze log files/traces Requirements engineering and architectural experience The team will need to cover a wide array of technologies and functions across the vehicle.
As such, a specialization (i.e.
6+ years experience) in one or more of the following key areas is desired: ADAS, Infotainment, Propulsion, Body, HVAC, Audio Cyber / Safety Microcontrollers (MCU), System On Chip (SOC), ARM architectures, Memory Technologies Define the ZCU/VCU hardware architecture to support current and future needs.
Identify, develop, and realize both physical and functional architecture designs from concept through production.
Support technical and complexity analysis for new features and design changes throughout the ZCU/VCU product lifecycle.
Ownership of architecture decisions and the resulting design artifacts which include technical diagrams, user manuals, simulations, proof of concepts, constraining requirements (specifications), interface definitions, and technical literature.
Close collaboration with System, HW, and SW developers/architects to ensure the ZCU/VCU HW architecture fulfills all stakeholder needs now and into the future, both technically and strategically.
Leading hardware design decisions to support In-Vehicle Infotainment, ADAS, Propulsion, Secure Gateway, Firmware Over the Air, and other features/domains through the selection of SOC/MPUs, memory devices, serializer/deserializers, A2 B/audio, networks (ETH/CAN/LIN), and other EE component peripherals.
Good knowledge with ISO26262 standard.
Experience with HSIS and HW safety requirement documents.
Experience with propulsion domain in the vehicle.
