As a Senior Hardware Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware components and systems for our products. You will ensure that designs meet performance, cost, and reliability requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role will also involve performing detailed design analysis, conducting feasibility studies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
  • Ensure designs meet performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to define and develop hardware requirements and specifications.
  • Work closely with teams to integrate hardware with software and mechanical components.
  • Perform Signal Integrity (SI) analysis, Power Distribution Network (PDN) analysis, and Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) analysis.
  • Conduct thorough design analysis, simulation, and validation to meet industry standards and safety.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and research to evaluate new technologies, components, and design approaches.
  • Apply findings to enhance product performance and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in hardware design with expertise in digital and analog circuit design.
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, PADS Layout, Dx Designer, Hyperlynx, CAM350, GC Preview, and ADS.
  • Experience in designing EMI/EMC compliant products and drafting DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
  • Hands-on experience with IoT product development and SOM modules.
  • Basic understanding of firmware and firmware-level debugging.
  • Strong proficiency in hardware architecture and design, R&D, and proof-of-concept development.
  • Experience with mass manufacturing and high-volume production.
  • Deep understanding of certification standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform detailed design analysis and testing.
