To boost your productivity, we provide a comprehensive suite of IT tools and practices backed by an experienced team to work with.About the Role:As a Technical Architect at Kellton, you will be a key driver in defining the technical strategy andarchitecture of our projects that rely on JavaScript technologies. Collaborating closely withcross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, you will beresponsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our JavaScriptapplications.Ideally, you have 10+ years of experience and at least 3+ years in a role doing thefollowing:What you will do:● Developing web services. From taking others' ideas, building and deployingan MVP, and managing feedback and feature changes.● Led a 5 to 15-member team of Software Engineers.● Experience handling project stakeholders and being able to engage with CxOlevel.● Helping in the estimation of projects.● Solid experience with technologies like Node JS (Express JS / NestJS/Serverless framework), React JS - design and development of high-volume,high-performance, high-availability, service-oriented applications usingproven Node JS frameworks & and technologies.● Hands-on knowledge of Architecture documents, HLD/LLD, ER diagrams, etc.● Demonstrate ownership of software architecture and design includingdeployment.● Strong experience in writing unit test cases in Mocha / Jest /Jasmine.● Identify and develop reusable framework component● Creating but also working with 3rd party API integrations. Commonly REST.GraphQL experience is also nice to have.● Strong experience in designing and developing microservices.● Strong debugging skills● Strong experience with using SQL and No-SQL databases.● Experience with a queue system like RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS, SNS or usingRedis or any other in-memory cache/database for that job.● Expertise in Cloud hosting solutions. AWS, GCP, or Azure.● Strong system design patterns and containerized-based applicationsknowledge.● Know-how for building scalable and highly available distributed systems.● Understanding of the existing architecture, and proposing/building a smoothtransition into the new architecture.● Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) that both existingand future clients will benefit from.● Knowledge of one or more Node JS ORM like Sequelize / TypeORM /Mongoose.● Knowledge of one or more applications and infra-monitoring tools likeCloudwatch, Newrelic, Instana, Graylog, ELK etc.● Have a strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanismslike JWT, Cognito, SSO, ADFS, LDAP, Firebase, etc.● Experience in handling strong technical and non-technical clients.● Experience in containerization, and orchestration using Dockers, Kubernetes, ECS,EKS etc● Should have knowledge of CI/CD tools like - Jenkins / AWS CICD / BitbucketCICD / Github Hooks / Circle CI / Serverless / Jenkins.● Knowledge of at least 1 CDN provider like Akamai / Cloudfront / Cloudflareetc.● Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis.● Experience in defining Schema, Indexing, Stored Functions / Triggers / Views.● Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB.● Knowledge about vertical and horizontal scaling of the application.Nice-to-Haves:● Experience with domains like Insurance, FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce,Retail, IoT or the QSR industry.● Willing to travel to client locations domestically and internationally (if required).● Experience working with Indian/US/UK clients.● Desire to be in a fast-moving consulting environment and handlingmulti-country, multi-language, multi-currency, multi-brands kind ofsystems.● Knowledge of Data migration services and approaches to migrate the data.● Have an idea of the Microservice architecture.● Knowledge of top 10 vulnerabilities, code scan tool, security audit, etc.● Experience with performance improvement like identifying the area ofimprovements and providing the solutions, load testing, etc.● Experience with Jobs, Schedulers, Pub sub mechanism, Storage, Gateway,load balancer, etc.● Knowledge about vertical and horizontal scaling of the application.Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalableapplication.● Experience with code review, Static code analysis tools like SonarQube,Linter etc. Optimal code quality, with implementation of best practicesWho you are:10+ years of experience and at least 3+ years at an Architect level.
