Job title: Assistant / Manager – Marketing Events and Operations (US Region)Experience: 6-10 yearsLocation: BengaluruEducation: Bachelor’s DegreeAbout the Role:- We are seeking an experienced candidate for Marketing Events and Operations to manage and execute international US-region focused B2B events, virtual events, and marketing operations, working from Bangalore.- The candidate will be responsible for every aspect of event planning and execution—from selecting event management/lead generation partners to post-event evaluation.- The objective is to organize impactful events that drive brand visibility, engagement, and revenue generation.Responsibilities- Individually manage end-to-end aspects of global events, spanning pre- and post-event activities such as branding, messaging, gifting, logistics, vendor and agency coordination, demand generation, and operations.- Function as a hands-on individual contributor with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring seamless planning and flawless execution.- Dedicated to maximizing ROI while delivering impactful events in the most cost-effective manner.- Coordinate the event request process and maintain accurate records in internal systems, in collaboration with US marketing segment leaders.- Ensure US events are properly staffed by sales and services specialists with the expertise to engage the audience effectively.- Act as the team’s primary point of contact for invoicing, payments, and logistics/shipping for US-based events.- Maintain a detailed schedule of event deadlines, including abstract submissions and other time-sensitive deliverables.- Assist in drafting event-related email copy and ensure mailing lists are uploaded by the email marketing teams.- Ensure all leads and opportunities from US events are captured by sales teams and uploaded to the CRM.- Coordinate seamlessly between US marketing segment leads (MSLs) and event organizers.- Research and manage vendors (catering, decorators, technology providers, etc.), ensuring the best combination of cost-effectiveness and quality.- Oversee vendor contracting and management for US events.- Manage all event operations: venue preparation, speaker coordination, invitations, and on-site support.- Conduct final checks on event days (e.g., setup, technology) to ensure high-quality standards.- Proactively resolve issues during events and oversee smooth execution.- Evaluate event success and prepare detailed post-event reports for US leadership.- Manage yearly gifting programs for partners, customers, prospects, and analysts across the US region.- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking event ROI.- Support other marketing functions as required, with a focus on US initiatives.Requirements and Skills- 6-10 years of experience in managing Marketing Events (B2B) and Operations, focusing on the US region- Proven experience as a Marketing Events Manager with exposure to international/US events and lead generation.- Willing to work in US shift timings (May differ based on business requirement)- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in events coordination and marketing.- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.- Ability to manage time zones and priorities, working with US stakeholders from Bangalore.- Familiarity with CRM platforms is desirable but not mandatory.- Ability to plan events within budgetary and time constraints.- Experience with invoicing, financial tracking, and vendor management.- Strong collaboration skills to work with diverse, international teams.- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.- Proactive “roll up your sleeves” attitude to problem-solving.- Creative, innovative, and enthusiastic about delivering memorable US-region events.- Willingness to travel internationally 1–3 times per year for US events.- Proven track record of executing successful international events.- Proficiency in MS Office.- Strong vendor management and marketing operations expertise.
