Role Description Collabera is looking for a Data Center Design Engineer / Data Center Architect, with experience in Professional Services versus the managed services environment. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer network requirements across multi-vendor environments and designing and/or implementing the target network infrastructure within hybrid and multi-cloud setups, with a primary focus on private cloud deployments. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compute, storage, and backup solutions into the overall network architecture. Candidates must demonstrate advisory experience in Professional Services, including design and deployment. Design, implement, and architect scalable, secure, and resilient multi-vendor network solutions. · Develop high-level and low-level network design documentation prior to deployment. · Create detailed "as-built" documentation following implementation. · Support pursuit and pre-sales activities by analysing customer requirements and proposing tailored network solutions. · Conduct data centre assessments, perform gap analyses, and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices. · Hands-on experience in Professional Services: Advisory, Design, Implementation, Configuration, and Assessment in Data Centre Networking environments. · Minimum 3–4 years of consulting and advisory experience with the following vendors: Strong understanding of all data center components (e.g., Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, Perl, etc.). · Good understanding of cloud technologies (private and/or public) from an integration perspective. ·
