The Lead Architect- Workplace Designer requires a proactive, imaginative, and hands-on leader who brings both artistic vision and technical expertise to complex workplace environments. The Lead Designer collaborates closely with clients, project managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, functional, and aesthetically compelling workspace solutions. This role demands the ability to think creatively while maintaining rigorous attention to detail and overseeing the entire design process from concept through execution. Conceptual Design: Create conceptual design proposals that encompass space planning, color schemes, furniture selections, and material choices. Prepare mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentations to effectively convey design concepts to clients. Space Planning and Layout: Develop efficient and functional space plans, considering workflow, ergonomics, and corporate culture. Select and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings to achieve the desired aesthetic and performance goals. Budget Management: Create project budgets and timelines, and work within budget constraints to deliver cost-effective design solutions. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Provide design guidance throughout the construction and installation phases. Project Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction and permitting purposes. Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the design is being implemented as planned and meets quality standards. Possess a strong design sensibility with keen attention to spatial planning, balance, and aesthetics. Skilled in conceptualizing innovative design solutions that align with client objectives and brand identity. Strong understanding of human-centric design principles to enhance workplace experience and productivity. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or a related field. Minimum of 7- 12 years of experience of working on Corporate Interiors / Workplace design projects & managing a team. Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, Revit, and Photoshop. Project management experience is a plus. Keep up to date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in corporate interior design.
