The Opportunity As a Founding AI/ML Engineer, you'll: Build our technical foundation with entrepreneurial autonomy Drive product direction, architecture, and company culture Bridge technical and business stakeholders with exceptional communication Tackle both ML and non-ML engineering challenges Join a high-caliber team valuing technical excellence and startup spirit Prioritize learning and long-term career trajectory Embrace significant upside potential in a fast-moving startup Engineering: Own the full ML lifecycle—data processing, model architecture, training, evaluation, and MLOps. Design and maintain production LLM applications Partner with product engineers, designers, and data scientists to build AI solutions that transform chip design workflows Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field D. or equivalent experience is a plus Experience (3+ years in ML) Deployed AI models in real-world production applications LLM inference optimization (e.g., Cloud deployment and scaling of AI/ML systems LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) Bonus Experience LangGraph, GPU/TPU provisioning, Kubernetes/MLOps Context management (chunking, summarization, sliding windows) AI-assisted coding tools and code generation challenges Model monitoring and MLOps workflows Core: Expert Python, PyTorch Backend: Flask, FastAPI, Django for APIs and services DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP Plus: JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue.js, Node.js, SQL/NoSQL, REST/GraphQL APIs Research papers in AI/ML venues or impactful technical blog posts Prior startup experience in fast-paced environments Founding team impact on a transformative technology High-growth potential in a massive industry Work with cutting-edge AI/ML technologies Collaborative, high-caliber team environment Significant equity upside potential ai.
