Role Overview:

As an Oracle PIF Consultant, you'll lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle Project Integrated Framework (PIF), focusing on streamlining project management and integrating enterprise systems. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Oracle PIF Implementations:

  • Oversee full-cycle Oracle PIF implementations, including planning, requirements gathering, design, configuration, and execution.
  • Align Oracle PIF with client operations to improve financial, costing, and billing processes, ensuring reduced risk and greater efficiency.

Tailor & Optimize:

  • Customize Oracle PIF modules (e.g., project costing, billing, forecasting) to meet client-specific needs.
  • Optimize the system for maximum performance and user experience, ensuring stakeholders can make data-driven decisions.

Effortless Integration:

  • Ensure smooth integration with ERP systems, financial systems (e.g., Oracle Financials), and other critical enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to configure APIs and data interfaces, ensuring data flows seamlessly across the business.

Consulting Excellence:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering best practices for project management and financial tracking using Oracle PIF.
  • Help clients optimize operations and reduce inefficiencies by aligning Oracle PIF with industry best practices.

Training & Empowerment:

  • Provide comprehensive training on Oracle PIF functionality to project managers, finance teams, and administrators.
  • Develop training materials, documentation, and offer post-implementation support to ensure effective use of the system.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor system performance and gather user feedback post-implementation to identify improvements.
  • Proactively suggest enhancements to meet evolving client needs, such as adding custom reports or integrating new Oracle Cloud services.

Example in Action:

For a client in the construction industry, you’ll:

  • Lead Oracle PIF setup for project costing and budgeting.
  • Customize modules to track multi-phase project expenses.
  • Integrate with ERP for real-time visibility into financials and procurement.
  • Train project managers and finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs.
  • Monitor and suggest improvements based on feedback.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PIF implementations, with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Financials, specifically in project management and financial modules.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Oracle PIF, project costing, billing, and integration with other Oracle applications (e.g., Oracle Projects, Oracle Procurement).
  • Consulting & Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating them into Oracle PIF configurations.
  • Training & Support: Ability to develop training materials, conduct sessions, and offer post-implementation support.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend system improvements.
  • Certifications: Oracle Certification in Oracle Financials, Cloud Financials, or PIF-related certifications are a plus.
