This role will primarily focus on podcast video production but will also encompass product shoots, still photography, and occasional model shoots. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of visual storytelling and be proficient in managing both audio-visual equipment and post-production processes.RESPONSIBILITIESPodcast Production:Collaborate with the podcast production team to plan and execute shoots, ensuring the best visual representation of the set and hosts.Set up and manage multi-camera setups, lighting, and audio capture for podcast video shoots.Ensure seamless integration of video and audio components, optimizing for platforms like YouTube and social media. General Videography:Plan, organize, and execute product videos, model shoots, and other visual projects.Handle various types of cameras and lighting setups to capture high-quality footage for diverse content types.Direct and guide talent on set to achieve the desired look and performance.Still Photography:Conduct still shoots for products and models, ensuring brand guidelines and creative concepts are maintained.Adjust lighting, composition, and framing to deliver professional-level photography for digital and print.Equipment Management:Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all photography and videography equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.Ensure correct technical setup (camera settings, frame rates, resolution) for each project type.Post-Production Coordination:Work closely with editors to ensure footage meets the required standards and fits within the intended narrative or brand story.Oversee media management, ensuring organized handover of footage for editing and storage.Project Management:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Stay updated on the latest industry trends in videography and photography, continually improving production quality.KEY REQUIREMENTS 3-4 years of experience as a DOP or Videographer, preferably within a podcasting, agency, or production house setting.Proven track record in managing video and audio setups for podcasts or talk shows.Expertise in operating professional cameras, lighting rigs, and sound equipment.Proficiency in video editing software and post-production workflows (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).Strong technical understanding of cinematography, visual storytelling, and composition.Experience working on a wide range of shoots: podcast, product, model, and more.Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team and provide direction to talent on set.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.ADDITIONAL SKILLS Familiarity with live streaming setups and multi-camera broadcasting would be an advantage.Understanding of social media video formats and editing for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, etc.
