TL;DR:
At Experience Co., we are curating global experiences for a community of outstanding creators, founders, achievers, and rebels. Your role at ExCo will be to shape and amplify our brand identity through creative strategy and storytelling. You will craft visually rich and relatable content that engages our audience, drives growth, and positions ExCo as a leader in experiential travel.
Creative strategists with a strong background in copywriting, brand positioning, and content innovation—particularly for B2C brands—will thrive in this role.
In this position, you’ll work directly with the leadership team and CEO, taking creative ownership of our house of travel brands.

The Longer Version
As Creative Strategist Lead (Copy & Video) at Experience Co., you will be the driving force behind crafting compelling narratives and shaping the brand’s creative direction. You will own ExCo’s voice and visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms while delivering campaigns that deeply resonate with a community of founders, creators, leaders, and misfits.
This role is a dynamic blend of creative ideation and strategic execution. You will strategize brand messaging, lead storytelling initiatives, create advertising content for the sales funnel, and experiment with innovative formats that keep ExCo’s content fresh and engaging. Collaborating closely with the marketing manager, designers, and external creators, you’ll bring concepts to life that elevate ExCo’s presence and impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Positioning and Strategy
• Define and maintain the brand’s tone, voice, and visual identity to align with its travel ethos.
• Develop creative strategies that enhance brand recognition and resonate with the target audience.
• Ensure consistent storytelling across all platforms, including video, social media, and advertisements.
2. Content Ideation and Development
• Conceptualise and script video content that inspires wanderlust and showcases the brand’s unique travel experiences.
• Write compelling copy for ads, email campaigns, website pages, and social media posts.
• Develop creative narratives that highlight the emotional and transformative aspects of travel.
3. Campaign Planning and Execution
• Design and execute video-first campaigns that amplify the brand’s presence and generate engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align content with marketing and sales goals.
• Leverage seasonal trends and audience insights to produce timely and relevant campaigns.
4. Creative Direction
• Lead video production efforts by working with directors, videographers, and editors to ensure the output reflects the brand’s vision.
• Oversee the creation of visual and copy assets to maintain a cohesive look and feel across all content.
• Provide art direction and feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
5. Storytelling and Narrative Development
• Craft immersive and relatable travel stories that connect emotionally with the audience.
• Experiment with long-form and short-form storytelling formats, from mini-documentaries to quick social media reels.
• Integrate user-generated content and testimonials to enrich the brand narrative.
6. Innovation and Content Experimentation
• Explore and implement emerging content formats such as 360-degree videos, interactive content, and text animations.
• Continuously innovate with new approaches to video editing, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Test and refine creative concepts based on audience feedback and engagement metrics.
7. Advertising and Performance Marketing Support
• Develop performance-driven video ads and copy for all stages of the sales funnel.
• Collaborate with performance marketing teams to create campaigns optimized for conversions.
• Use A/B testing to refine ad creatives and maximize impact.
8. Data-Driven Creative Decisions
• Analyze audience behavior and campaign performance to inform creative strategies.
• Use insights to tailor content for different audience segments and platforms.
• Optimize video and copy assets based on data trends and engagement metrics.

• Balance creative vision with business objectives, ensuring all outputs contribute to growth and engagement.
• Are a natural team player who can guide and mentor others while maintaining high creative standards.
• Stay ahead of trends in content creation, storytelling, and emerging platforms.
• Are not afraid to experiment with new formats and push creative boundaries.
