ServiceNow Test Manager – Roles & ResponsibilitiesExperience & Leadership- Possess 5–7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform.- Proven track record of leading teams of 4–6 testers, managing performance, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality output.- Ability to work independently while also guiding and supporting the team.ServiceNow Platform Expertise- Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.- Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation, and defect management within the ServiceNow ecosystem.- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Customer Engagement & Communication- Act as a customer-facing lead, managing all communications related to testing activities, timelines, risks, and issue resolution.- Prepare and present test strategies, status reports, defect summaries, and other documentation to stakeholders.- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and expectations.Individual Contribution- Be a hands-on test manager, capable of writing and executing test cases, performing defect triage, and contributing to automation efforts.- Take ownership of critical testing tasks and support the team during high-pressure phases.Project Delivery & Quality Assurance- Oversee end-to-end testing lifecycle for ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and client requirements.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing with overall project objectives.Process Improvement & Governance- Define and implement testing processes, standards, and best practices tailored to ServiceNow projects.- Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and team capabilities.- Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific quality frameworks.
