Role Name: Sr Data Scientist/Lead Data Scientist
Location: Bangalore | Hybrid

Why this role is important to us
We are building an exceptional team of data scientists to solve problems of Demand Planning, Revenue Growth Management, and other areas of Demand-Supply Agility in CPG and Retail. We promise and deliver outcomes that are 5-10% better than current benchmarks and do this in a transparent and scalable way. Simultaneously solving for multiple objectives of best-in-class Accuracy, Scalability, and explain ability requires best-in-class talent.
What will you do?
•Develop and fine tune Deep Learning models for forecasting and other supply chain use cases in CPG and Retail industry
•Develop an NLP solution capable of understanding domain-specific language, intent-recognition, mapping and triggering the right agents to generate and deliver meaningful responses.
•Create a solution that can categorize queries into different types (e.g., data analysis, predictive forecasts, scenario simulations, etc.)
•Design and develop a system that automatically triggers the appropriate agents based on the query's classified intent.
•Develop applications leveraging LLMs and Generative AI to provide the users seamless
experience while interacting with data and insights
.Build prototypes for solutions based on latest SOTA techniques in the filed of NLP, Gen-AI, Reinforcement Learning, etc.
•Benchmark performance of various Deep Learning models on public and proprietary datasets to compare and identify best models for different use cases
•Conduct research in relevant fields and publish the work in leading AI conferences/journals or other forums
• Assist in creating IP in the field of Data Science and its applications in CPG and Retail industry
•Educate team members about latest developments in relevant fields.
What you bring in experiences?
•5+ years of experience as a data scientist, with proven expertise in successful Gen-AI, Co-pilot, and Conversational AI Chatbot development and implementations
•Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP): Advanced NLP technologies to interpret and understand user queries in natural language.
•Intent Recognition and Classification: Developing algorithms that can accurately identify the intent behind a user's query.
•Agent Mapping and Workflow Automation: Creating frameworks where each type of query is associated with one or more specific agents.
•Contextual Understanding and Learning: Implementing AI models that can understand the context of queries.
•User Feedback Integration: Incorporate a feedback mechanism where users can provide input on the system’s responses and suggestions
• Expert level knowledge of Deep Learning concepts, popular architectures, NLP techniques, generative models and reinforcement learning techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills in areas of Data Science and Software Development to
develop efficient solutions for complex problems
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities to build and evaluate hypothesis for experimentation
•Comfortable in working with structured and unstructured datasets to extract patterns and
insights
• Proficiency in Python and experience working with its libraries like pytorch, tensorflow, scikit- learn, pandas, numpy, etc.
