Job Title: Site Engineer   Reports To: Project Manager/Construction Manager GoCivil is a leading civil contracting firm specializing in infrastructure development projects for the Indian Railways (South Western Railways). With a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety, GoCivil delivers comprehensive construction solutions tailored to the needs of large-scale public sector clients. This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Civil Engineer located in Hosur. The Site Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering design and site planning, managing stormwater systems, and working collaboratively to ensure projects meet design and compliance standards. The role includes daily coordination with project teams and on-ground execution to ensure timely and quality-driven completions. Expertise in Civil Engineering Design and a strong understanding of Civil Engineering principles. Experience in site planning and effective project coordination. Proficiency in Stormwater Management design and implementation. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Previous experience in site-based engineering roles is a plus. Project Planning and Coordination • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met. • Schedule and manage day-to-day construction activities to meet deadlines. Site Supervision • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with design plans. • Quality Control and Assurance • Ensure materials and workmanship meet the specified quality standards. • Conduct quality checks and prepare progress reports.  Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and timesheets. • Report progress, delays, and potential issues to the project manager. Identify and troubleshoot problems related to design, materials, and construction processes. • Strong understanding of civil, structural, or mechanical engineering principles. • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project). •
