Role Overview: We are looking for a passionate and technically proficient Cybersecurity Awareness Lead to join our team. This role will involve developing and delivering engaging cybersecurity awareness programs, ensuring that employees at all levels understand the importance of cybersecurity and how to protect themselves from emerging threats. The ideal candidate will possess both strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between complex cybersecurity concepts and everyday practices.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness content tailored for various audiences, including employees, management, and non-technical stakeholders.
● Lead the creation of training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive activities.
● Conduct workshops and training sessions to raise cybersecurity awareness across the organization.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security awareness practices into company culture.
● Conduct large-scale training sessions (100+ participants), ensuring clear communication and engagement during each session.
● Utilize virtual training tools (Zoom, MS Teams) and presentation software (PowerPoint, Canva) to facilitate interactive and impactful training.
● Adapt and mold training sessions based on the audience type, ensuring the content resonates and engages the group effectively.
● Handle unexpected challenges during live sessions with professionalism and agility.
● Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and up-to-date.
● Effectively communicate complex technical security concepts to non-technical audiences.
● Drive participation and engagement in cybersecurity initiatives and campaigns.
● Assist in implementing and promoting security best practices within the organization, fostering a proactive security mindset among all employees.
Required Skills and Experience:
● Proven experience (2-3 years) in cybersecurity, with a strong understanding of security practices, risk management, and best practices.
● Expertise in Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and secure coding guidelines.
● Creative thinker with the ability to tell compelling stories and simplify complex technical content.
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage audiences both in-person and through digital platforms.
● Strong understanding of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and mitigation strategies.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred
Qualifications:
● Experience in creating and managing cybersecurity awareness programs or campaigns.
● Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
