CARD91 collaborates closely with major card networks like RuPay, Visa, and Mastercard, and is NPCI's preferred partner. This ensures our products effectively address payment challenges in India and are as well-suited for global expansion.

Backed by $14 million in pre-Series A funding from top-tier investors including Infinity Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Sabre Partners, EMVC, Commerce Ventures, and notable angel investors, CARD91 is headquartered in Bengaluru with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai.

Founded in early 2020 by Ajay Pandey and Vineet Saxena, our team brings extensive experience in payments, lending, sales, and product scaling. We comprise technopreneurs and seasoned bankers, offering diverse expertise and thought leadership.

Position: Manager HR

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Manager HR to lead our human resources department. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment, developing effective HR policies, and driving strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals. The Manager HR will oversee recruitment, employee relations and performance management.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and contribute to organisational planning.
  • Set and Analyse workforce metrics (e.g., compensation, attrition, job levels) to deliver actionable insights for talent acquisition and retention.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement performance management systems, set goals, provide feedback, and resolve performance challenges.
  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to ensure equity and retention.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with teams to proactively address workplace dynamics and concerns.
  • Develop, update, and enforce company HR policies and procedures.
  • Promote employee engagement through wellness initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, from job posting to candidate selection, ensuring a seamless hiring experience.
  • Lead onboarding efforts, including structured 30-60-90-day plans, to integrate new hires effectively.

Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources with 7+ years of experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership abilities,
  • problem-solving skills, and proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Start-up experience is preferred. Should be comfortable to commute to the office all five days.
  • This job includes occasional travel to other CARD91 office locations like Mumbai and Noida.
