ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cross-functional data collation and analysis for annual sustainability and disclosure reports.
2. Supports the Sustainability team in maintaining high data quality standards with regular quality checks and
identifies methods for continuous improvement.
3. Assists team in the verification of sustainability data and in audits.
4. Cross-functional collaboration for the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
5. Ensures the performance of OPCOs for their monthly Sustainability KPIs
6. Ensures compliance with IMS and Sustainability requirements.
7. Generates Reports on sustainability performance and submits them to the Direct Supervisor, suggesting improvements when needed.
8. Works closely with the Heads of Departments and makes sure all procedures are properly communicated and understood.
9. Ensures the establishment and maintenance of records to provide evidence that the sustainability requirements are being followed and that a system is in place for the identification, storage, protection, retrieval, retention time and disposal of such records.
10. Follow up on the Sustainability Objectives set by Top Management for measuring OPCOS performance
11. Assists the Sustainability team in day-to-day tasks, reporting
12. Reviews requirements and assists development of analytical sheets and models
13. Sources and analyses of ESG/ sustainability performance data of companies
14. Supports the smooth functioning of the ESG digital platform
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate is passionate about Sustainability and looking for meaningful as well as impactful work.
- She/he should know/experience following sustainability related areas: Resource Efficiency (Energy, water, waste management); Renewable Energy; Cleaner Production; Carbon foot-printing; Sustainability Reporting 6-7 years of relevant work experience
- Have prior consulting experience in sustainability/ESG domain
- Knowledge of emissions target setting, Energy efficiency initiatives,
- Experience in developing GHG inventory (GHG protocol/ISO 14064)
- experience in sustainability reporting (GRI) and disclosures (CDP, Ecovadis)
- Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suit
- Excellent quantitative research skills, with proficiency in writing and communication of research
- outputs.
- Excellent presentation and Excel skills.
- Ability to work ‘hands-on’ and multi-task in an energetic environment
- Someone who has a solutions-based and collaborative approach.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Master’s in environmental science, Environmental Management, MBA Sustainability, or relevant work experience
