To enhance our R&D team in Mumbai / India, we are looking for a


Technical Writer (m/f/d)


to join our Indian innovation centre as soon as possible.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of product and service documentation for outdoor lighting products and smart city applications (data sheets, manuals, etc.)
  • Writing of technical texts in English
  • Administration and maintenance of the whole product and project documentation including photos, renderings, reports, tender documents, etc.
  • Creation and regular updating of training material concerning the installation and maintenance of outdoor solar lighting for the end-user
  • Close coordination with product management, sales, R&D


YOUR QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • Completed higher technical qualification with a focus on electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering (technical university or technical college) or similar
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Great articulation skills (verbally and in writing)
  • Ability to translate detailed and complex issues into simple and understandable information
  • Professional capacity of SolidWorks in combination with at least one tool for creation of drawings for manuals
  • Familiar with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
  • Experience with CMS tools like Confluence or FrameMaker”
  • A structured and independent way of working, an eye for detail and a precise and efficient work style
  • Enthusiasm for innovative, environmentally friendly products with high quality design standards

The annual salary is in the range of ₹6–10 LPA depending on professional experience and qualification.
