Position Title: Project Manager (Civil Engineering) Department: Projects Reporting To: General Manager Job Location: Mumbai (South Mumbai) Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Work Experience: Above 15 years in Real Estate. Role and Responsibility: 1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and resources based on in line with Baseline schedule of planning dept. Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery. Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility. 2. Budgeting and Cost Control: Track project expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgetary guidelines. Liaise with the finance team for vendor payments and cost reporting. 3. Team Management: Lead a team of project managers, engineers, and site supervisors. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure performance align with project goals. Mentor and develop junior staff members, providing technical guidance and support. 4. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and consultants. Ensure quality standards are maintained by conducting regular site inspections. Resolve any conflicts or issues between contractors and consultants. 5. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure all work complies with Quality/safety regulations, and company standards. Monitor and report on the compliance of environmental, health, and safety regulations on-site. 6. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management and stakeholders. Address client concerns and ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Facilitate site visits and meetings with clients and stakeholders. 7. Quality Assurance & Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet company standards. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any quality issues on-site. Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality. 8. Timeline Management: Ensure the project stays on track by closely monitoring project schedules and milestones. Identify potential delays and implement strategies to mitigate any time overruns. Adjust project timelines and resources as necessary to accommodate changes in scope or unforeseen challenges. 9. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, plans, permits, and progress reports. Prepare and present detailed progress reports for senior management and clients. Ensure proper handover documentation is completed at the end of the project. Requirements: Good Communication Skills. Knowledge of Auto CAD latest version, excel. Leadership assumes overall accountability and responsibility. Team player, adaptive to cultural differences, ability to motivate a cross-functional team to strive for a common target (and to implement it).
