The Ola app offers mobility solutions by connecting customers to drivers and a wide range of vehicles across bikes, auto-rickshaws, metered taxis, and cabs, enabling convenience and transparency for hundreds of millions of consumers and over 1.5 million driver-partners.

Ola's core mobility offering in India is supplemented by its electric-vehicle arm, Ola Electric; launched in Aug 2021, and by Apr 2022 it was the #1 selling electric 2W company in the country. Currently, there are more than 150K scooters on the road, a number that is constantly increasing. With control of technologies end-to-end, D2C model, and product roadmap to address consumer needs of personal mobility across price segments and form factors, Ola Electric is disrupting traditional automobile OEMs in the country

Ola also extends its consumer offerings like micro-insurance, credit-led payments, and other financial products through Ola Financial Services which complements both ride-hailing and EV business.

Qualifications & Skills:

- MBA or B. Tech. from Tier-1 institutes with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, VC roles

- Experience in fast-paced technology start-ups would be a plus

- Prior experience in Deal Closure, Strategy, and Corp Finance

- Experience in the Automotive & EV or the Technology space

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive debt fundraises, investor relations, and strategy

- Work closely with different departments to create compelling pitch decks, and financial models, to engage potential investors

- Create financial projections for the company and provide strategic financial insights to the business leaders

- Analyze and gather competitive intelligence on companies operating in various industries

- New deal origination, negotiation, and end-to-end execution

- Oversee the entire transaction closure process, coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely completion of required documentation and regulatory approvals. Maintain excellent communication channels with legal counsel, accountants, and other professionals handling transaction details

- Develop and maintain active financial and strategic partnership pipeline, competitor deep dives

- Assess risks and rewards associated with each opportunity, weighing them against the organization's overall strategic objectives before making recommendations to executive leadership.
