As a Program Manager - Machine Learning Researcher, you will drive AI and ML innovations within e Clerx’s offerings, managing end-to-end ML programs that enhance client outcomes. Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Researcher with strong program management skills to lead advanced AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning models and algorithms, experience in research and experimentation, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects across teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Program Management: Lead, coordinate, and manage machine learning programs from inception through deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Define project scope, deliverables, and schedules, managing resource allocation and budget. Track program progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to quality standards. ML Research and Development: Design and conduct research to create and improve ML models that solve complex business challenges. Stay updated on the latest ML research and apply relevant advancements to improve algorithms and processes. Conduct rigorous experimentation and testing to validate the performance of ML models and solutions. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders, to align ML initiatives with organizational goals. Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating the progress and impact of ML projects. Documentation and Reporting: Document research findings, experimental setups, and results. Prepare detailed project reports and present insights and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and clients. Develop and maintain best practices for ML program management and research documentation. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of innovation by exploring emerging ML techniques and technologies. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of a robust ML research environment. Qualifications: Educational Background: Master’s or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning research and/or development. 3+ years of experience in program management, preferably in an ML or AI-focused role. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages. Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Scikit-Learn). Hands-on experience with NLP, computer vision, or deep learning. Strong knowledge of data processing and feature engineering techniques. Other Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder programs. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
