Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning Researcher with strong program management skills to lead advanced AI/ML initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning models and algorithms, experience in research and experimentation, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects across teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
  • Lead, coordinate, and manage machine learning programs from inception through deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and schedules, managing resource allocation and budget.
  • Track program progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • ML Research and Development:
  • Design and conduct research to create and improve ML models that solve complex business challenges.
  • Stay updated on the latest ML research and apply relevant advancements to improve algorithms and processes.
  • Conduct rigorous experimentation and testing to validate the performance of ML models and solutions.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business leaders, to align ML initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating the progress and impact of ML projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Document research findings, experimental setups, and results.
  • Prepare detailed project reports and present insights and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for ML program management and research documentation.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive a culture of innovation by exploring emerging ML techniques and technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of a robust ML research environment.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning research and/or development.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, preferably in an ML or AI-focused role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
  • Hands-on experience with NLP, computer vision, or deep learning.
  • Strong knowledge of data processing and feature engineering techniques.
  • Other Skills:
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to a non-technical audience.
